ticket terms
(a)social london events are private, invitation-only parties with limited capacity. Because every place is planned for, all ticket sales are final.
By buying a ticket you agree to these terms. Last updated October 2026.
1. No refunds
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, except in the cases set out in section 2. This includes, but is not limited to, if you:
- can’t attend, change your plans, or don’t show up;
- arrive late or leave early;
- are refused entry or asked to leave under section 4;
- are unhappy with the music, line-up, timings or anything else that changes on the night (see section 3).
Booking for an event on a specific date means the 14-day cancellation period for online purchases does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28).
2. If the event is cancelled or moved
- Cancelled: if we cancel the event, you’ll get a full refund of the ticket price to the card you paid with. We’ll contact you using the email you booked with.
- Moved to a new date or venue: your ticket automatically carries over to the new date or venue. If you can’t make the new date, message us within 7 days of the announcement and we’ll refund you. After that, the ticket stays valid for the new date only.
Refunds cover the ticket price only. We aren’t responsible for travel, accommodation, outfits or any other costs.
3. Changes on the night
We may change the line-up, music, timings, room layout or other details of the event without notice. These changes don’t entitle you to a refund.
4. Entry
- This is a private, 18+ event. Bring valid photo ID that matches the name on the booking or the guest list.
- Your name must be on the guest list. Names are taken from your booking and shared with the venue for the door.
- We and the venue may refuse entry or remove anyone, without a refund, including for intoxication, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour, not meeting the dress code, or not having valid ID.
- You must follow the venue’s rules and any reasonable instructions from our team and the venue’s staff.
5. Transfers
Tickets are personal and may not be resold. If someone in your group can’t make it, message us on Instagram before the event and we may, at our discretion, change the name on the guest list. Tickets resold or bought from anyone other than us may be cancelled without a refund.
6. Discount codes
Discount codes are single-use per order, can’t be applied after purchase and have no cash value. We may withdraw a code at any time.
7. Payment disputes
If you think something has gone wrong with your booking, please message us first so we can put it right. If a payment is disputed or reversed with your bank, the ticket and your place on the guest list are cancelled.
8. Photos and filming
The event may be photographed and filmed, and footage may be used on (a)social london channels. If you’d rather not appear, tell our team on the night.
9. Your belongings and responsibility
You’re responsible for your belongings and your own conduct at the event. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
10. Your data
We use the names and contact details you give us to run the booking and the guest list, and share guest names with the venue for the door. See our privacy policy for the details.
